Frequently Asked Questions

We're so excited to celebrate with you! If there's anything else you're curious about, reach out to Max, Jessica, or Sue Feinberg (sffein606@gmail.com).

Can I bring a date or my children?

Our wedding is strictly RSVP-only. To keep our guest list intimate, we are only able to accommodate guests formally named on your invitation. We also respectfully request no children at the ceremony or reception. Thank you for your understanding!

What will the weather be like in Colorado in August?

The weather here can be a bit unpredictable. We expect a beautiful, hot, sunny day, but afternoon thunderstorms are always possible — check the forecast for Lafayette, CO in the days beforehand and consider a light jacket or wrap for the evening. The ceremony and cocktail hour are outdoors, so wear shoes that work on grass, and don't forget sunscreen — the sun is a mile closer here and the UV exposure is no joke.

What about the altitude?

High-altitude air is less dense, so visitors take in less oxygen with each breath — which can cause temporary shortness of breath, a faster heart rate, or altitude sickness. If you're concerned, we recommend arriving at least a day early to acclimate overnight. Canned oxygen will be available to all guests.

What is the dress code?

Cocktail Attire. Wear what makes you feel your best — a cocktail dress, a midi or maxi dress, a dressy jumpsuit, a suit and tie, or a sport coat and slacks all work wonderfully.

What time should I arrive?

Our ceremony begins promptly at 4:00 PM, and the venue welcomes guests starting at 3:30 PM. Please don't arrive earlier than 3:30 so our vendors and wedding party have time for final preparations. We can't wait to see you!

How do I get to the venue?

We're celebrating at Lionsgate Event Center in Lafayette, CO. GPS can be tricky with the street address, so for the most accurate directions we recommend typing "Lionsgate Event Center" directly into Google Maps or your preferred navigation app.

I have a dietary restriction. What should I do?

We want you to have a delicious, safe meal! Dinner is served buffet-style, and the RSVP form has a section where you can note any allergies or dietary restrictions. Please add them there so we can pass the details to our caterers.

What is your gift registry?

Your presence is the best present! If you wish to give a gift, we would be grateful for contributions to our honeymoon fund.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by July 31, 2026, so we can finalize our arrangements.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that you put away phones and cameras during the ceremony so you can be fully present — our professional photographer will capture every moment. Feel free to take photos during the reception!
